  ----- ALUMINUM DANGERS -----

WHAT IS SO DANGEROUS ABOUT ALUMINUM?

     As I stated on the HEALTH KILLERS page, you probably want to know why ALUMINUM is included. You are most likely thinking - "I don't eat aluminum!". Well, the truth is - you probably DO! 

     

     If you dine out, frequently - you are ingesting aluminum. Most restaurants use aluminum pots and pans. If you wrap food in aluminum, to bake in the oven or on a grill - you are ingesting aluminum. If you use stainless steel pots, that have aluminum rivets to secure the handles - you are ingesting aluminum. 

     If you use aluminum cookie sheets - you are ingesting aluminum. If you make pasta sauce, or any type of tomato soup, or anything with a high concentration of acid in it - in an aluminum pot - you are ingesting a LOT of aluminum. 

     Many years ago, I was baking a ham for my late husband. I had completely wrapped the top of the ham with aluminum foil before putting it into the oven. When I removed it, to see if it was thoroughly cooked all the way through, I saw little tiny shiny particles all over the ham. They were little miniscule bits of ALUMINUM! Needless to say, I trimmed off the entire top of that ham, so none of my family members would be eating aluminum. 

 

     I am firmly convinced that those who develop Alzheimer's disease have ingested a lot of aluminum in their lifetime. WHY do you think baking powder now is touted as - "aluminum free"? Because it became apparent that those who used a lot of baking powder, were having health issues. When aluminum is ingested, it "balls up" and can "short-circuit" your brain. Now, that is a very simple way to put it, but that gives you the idea. Your body recognizes it as a foreign substance, and reacts to it. 

 

     Want to know another source of aluminum that you are using - not even THINKING about it? How many of you are slathering antiperspirants under your arms? MOST of them contain aluminum, in various forms. Here are a few of them: 

 

     

 

     There are a LOT more of them that have aluminum in their formula. THANKFULLY, many companies have been making "aluminum free" antiperspirants and deodorants. Those companies are responding to public demands, and deserve credit for putting out a safe product! 

     When you put something on your skin, it can easily be absorbed. If you don't believe me, do your research. You would be shocked at how many substances merely rubbed on your skin, can make their way into your bloodstream.

     There are a lot of studies available that indicate aluminum as a factor in Alzheimer's disease. We will cite some sources for you, but there are many, many more. I have been aware of some of the dangers of aluminum for about 30 years. What I gleaned from all of my research, was - in a nutshell - aluminum forms a "ball" in the brain area - sort of like a ball of tangled twine. It affects how your brain waves work, and sort of "short circuits" the wiring in your brain. This is obviously a layman's observation.

     WARNING: You will find that many sites discount the connection, but we happen to firmly believe it is a leading cause to dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

The aluminum industry is a HUGE one, and they obviously do not want the public to be alarmed. Take time to think for yourself

MORE SOURCES OF ALUMINUM

     All right - above we have given you a few items to think about, concerning sources of aluminum. Here are a few more. I'll bet you never even thought about these. Today, in 2022, we live such fast-paced lives, that we tend not to think about checking every single ingredient in foods we buy. Hopefully, this will make you pause and read those ingredient lists. Many foods that had simple, healthy, basic ingredients are now made with lots of additives. Artificial flavors have replaced natural flavors, dough conditioners and the ubiquitous "spices" are listed, and ALUMINUM is in more foods that one would think possible. I'll just get you started on a few...

     The above examples are just SOME of the many, many items that are in stores, that lots of people use on a regular basis, that contain sodium aluminum phosphate, or aluminum in other forms. Who would have thought it? Wouldn't you think that there is enough evidence out there, about the adverse effects of ingesting aluminum, to coerce food manufacturers to remove it from their products? 

 

     If they are determined to continue to add aluminum, in ANY form, then YOU should be just as determined not to add to their coffers by purchasing them!
